Wonder's visiting Atlanta!

I'm touring him all over the city.  We started at Fat Matt's Rib Shack for some BBQ and then a drive all over northern Atlanta.  We cruised through Westminster and the Overlook in Vinings.  Then decided to take a break and chill out on the roof of Six Feet Under with drinks and calamari.  After that, we went back to my house for a well-deserved nap.  For dinner, we had the house special burger at the Midway.  Two patties of beef and pulled pork with cheese.  Way too much food!  And that was day one.

Decided at the last minute to make dinner and Dan and Susie had no plans.  So they came to my house for chicken and beef fajitas and to meet the cutest of cute dogs, Iggy.  Here are a couple pictures Dan took...

New cousin alert:  Mike and Meg are preggers!!  I have been bragging for the past year and a half about how cool my cousins are with their adoption.  I have always been a big supporter of adoption and very proud of Mike and Meg for embracing it.  November 2010, they brought home their boys from Uganda.  Joshua and Isaac are very cute and seem to be adjusting wonderfully to their new life.  And now they are (or more precisely, Megan is) pregnant!  Fantastic!  You can read all about it here. I'm gaining cousins all over the place.  (this is a big deal for an only child)  Welcome Junior Dude Clarke!

Jason's here.  Jason's here.  Jason's here!  Jason is here!!!  Jason, my friend from Arizona, moved into my house tonight.  He and cat Hilary, also known as Meow Meow, arrived after a very long car trip.  Yay!

I've got a pisser on my hands

So it turns out that my dog is a nervous pee-er.  When Iggy gets excited or scared, he pees.  For example, he is not allowed on the sofa because of his peeing problem. And yesterday, he hopped up on the sofa, so I yelled at him to get off. And he peed all over the sofa.
Tonight was the first night I left him alone while I went to work.  I worked from 5 to 9 and rushed home to let him out of his crate.  He was whining in the crate when I opened the door and rushed out to greet me.  He is such an alpha dog that he immediately rolled over to show me his belly.  And peed.  All up and down my pants, shirt, and face.  Ewww!  We'll have to work on this.
