The 138th Running of the Kentucky Derby

I drove up to Louisville Friday for Derby weekend, which includes Shari's birthday on Sunday.  My first Derby and my friends get Turf Club tickets.  I am spoilt.  I had a great time with Shari, T.K., Toby and Melissa.  Thanks guys for a wonderful first Derby.  (Plus I won $$!!)

...for Easter weekend with the folks and Jason.  The mountain was lush and green and Iggy had his first* out of city experience.  Also first* long-distance ride which he spent laying on the floor behind my seat in the Jetta.

I seem to have been neglecting my other roommate, Hilary.  She is a very lovely and sweet tempered black and white cat with the most beautiful green eyes.  Here, see for yourself...

Sunday Funday

So I was planning on more kabob for brunch but Jason had better ideas.  We started on the patio at Park Tavern with Alfredo and Danny.
